How to Make Your Own General Tso Chicken and Lo Mein at Home

General Tso chicken is a well-known dish of fresh seared chicken covered in a sweet and fiery sauce, named after a nineteenth-century Chinese military pioneer. Lo mein is a sort of noodle dish, made with egg noodles, vegetables, and meat or fish, threw in a flavorful sauce.   • 1/4 cup of low sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons of shellfish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of earthy colored sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of sesame oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon of ground ginger
  • 2 green onions, cut

For the pork and vegetable egg rolls:

  • 1/4 pound of ground pork
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 teaspoons of oil
  • 2 cups of destroyed cabbage
  • 1/4 cup of destroyed carrot
  • 2 tablespoons of low sodium soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of sesame oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon of sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 10 egg roll coverings
  • Oil, for searing
  • Prepared sauce, for plunging

To make the Overall Tso chicken, follow these steps:

  1. In a huge ziplock bag, throw the chicken pieces with the cornstarch, salt, and pepper, until very much covered. Shake off any overabundance cornstarch.
