Ford Electrifies the Market: Major Price Cuts on 2023 Mustang Mach-E and Sweet 0% Financing Deals!
In a bold move that’s sure to send shockwaves through the electric vehicle (EV) market, Ford Motor Company has announced significant price reductions across all trims of its 2023 Mustang Mach-E models, with cuts ranging up to a whopping $8,100. This strategic decision comes as Ford adapts to a shifting EV demand landscape, aiming to bolster sales and offer unparalleled customer value.
The Mustang Mach-E, Ford’s all-electric crossover SUV, has been a game-changer since its debut over four years ago. Despite initial mixed reactions due to its departure from the traditional Mustang lineage, the Mach-E has charged ahead to become the second-best-selling electric SUV in the US in 2023. With a starting price that was once just shy of $46,000, the Mach-E has seen its price tag gradually decrease, reflecting Ford’s commitment to making EVs more accessible.
Ford’s recent price adjustments follow a temporary pause in orders earlier in 2023. When orders reopened in May, the starting MSRP was set at $42,995. Now, after a price reduction for Canadian customers, Ford has extended these cuts to the US market. The new pricing structure is as follows:
– Select RWD: From $42,995 to $39,895
– Select AWD: From $45,995 to $42,895
– Premium RWD: From $46,995 to $42,895
– Premium AWD: From $49,995 to $45,895
– Premium RWD (Extended Range): From $53,995 to $45,895
– Premium AWD (Extended Range): From $56,995 to $48,895
– California Route 1 AWD: From $56,995 to $48,895
– GT: From $59,995 to $52,395
– GT (Performance Edition): From $64,995 to $57,395
These new prices do not include the $1,800 destination fees. The Mustang Mach-E offers an EPA-estimated range of 250 to 312 miles per charge, depending on the model and battery pack.
In addition to the price cuts, Ford is offering a $7,500 cash incentive on leased 2023 Mustang Mach-E vehicles through Ford Credit. This is on top of the $7,500 federal tax credit for EV leases, which means US buyers could lease a Mach-E for up to $13,000 off MSRP. Qualified buyers can also benefit from 0% financing for 72 months, making the Mach-E an even more attractive option for those looking to join the EV revolution.
But the good news doesn’t stop with the Mustang Mach-E. Ford is also extending incentives to the F-150 Lightning, with various retail bonus cash offers and red carpet lease cash deals for different trims of the 2023 model. These incentives include:
– $7,500 retail bonus cash on an F-150 XLT Extended Range purchase
– $5,000 retail bonus cash on F-150 Lightning Lariat Standard and Extended Range purchase
– $12,500 retail bonus cash for the F-150 Lightning Platinum
Lease offers for the F-150 Lightning are equally enticing, with up to $7,500 in red carpet lease cash available for the Platinum trim.
Ford’s aggressive pricing strategy is a clear response to market dynamics and a direct challenge to competitors like Tesla, which has also recently adjusted pricing on its Model Y SUV. As Ford continues to innovate and expand its EV lineup, these price reductions and financing offers are set to make the Mustang Mach-E and F-150 Lightning even more compelling choices for consumers looking to make the switch to electric.
With Ford’s commitment to providing value and growth in the EV sector, now is an excellent time for potential buyers to consider making the leap to an electric Ford. Whether it’s the versatile Mustang Mach-E or the robust F-150 Lightning, Ford is paving the way for an electrified future, one enticing offer at a time.
